Our story
Started in Canada. Distributed by design.
iSystematic began in 2013 building data and ML systems for enterprise teams that needed more than a deck. The brief was simple then and it’s simple now: ship work that holds up in production.
Today we’re a senior, kind, distributed team of engineers, designers and researchers who care deeply about the craft. We work in tight pods, usually four to six people, embedded with your team for the duration of an engagement.
We’ve never raised outside capital. We’re not a body shop. We’re a studio.
iSystematic was founded by Nabeel Khan, Defensible AI Architect (enterprise AI architecture and AI governance for regulated institutions). He leads the studio’s enterprise practice in AI governance and readiness, and the books and frameworks he publishes on nabeelkhan.com are the ones this studio builds to.
Some of that work becomes product. We publish Maxim for Claude Code, a plugin that makes every AI output name the framework it applied. For customer conversations, we implement ARIA by Simplification.io, a platform Simplification builds and sells, for our clients.
